Port Dickson 2 - Eat~

It was our N's time in PD, most of the must visit places were visited ages ago, BBQ, steamboat was done for many many times.....This time however, we just want a cheap and convenient getaway.......and some nice local food~ Since our apartment is nearer to Lukut town, we had all our meals there~Ha! Convenient ma~

Breakfast

Next to CIMB bank of Lukut~ Before the police station if you came from PD~

They are famous for Char Siew Pao~~ Sold out when we reached~ What a bummer.......Ordered Emperor Pao(皇帝包) instead~

Tada~ The pao texture was really soft and taste good~

Char Siew Sauce coated glutinous rice with salted egg~ Tasted more like a mixture of Loh Mai Gai（糯米鸡）with pao~ 

Everyone was hungry~

Dim Sum?~

Mediocre.......

Normal also~ But then I never quite like Loh Mai Gai~

Wah~ Close every Sunday and Monday.........

Total damage = RM 60+.........Would like to try their Char Siew Pao some other day~

Lunch

This was recommended by Zhong Zhen also~~ Just behind the Char Siew Pao~~~(More accurately, behind KFC~) Just search around that area~

Here comes the dry Bak Kut Teh......

To me.....quite appetizing especially to eat with rice~ But tasted more like salted fish pork pot (咸鱼花腩煲）For those that do not like salted fish...might not be a good idea~

Here comes the soup Bak Kut Teh~

Quite good actually~~~ Concentrated enough........overall above average~

Most importantly, prices were reasonable~ RM75 for all these~



Dinner
Was so packed when we reached.....barely found a table and settled down~ Just opposite Giant in Lukut....might not look striking at all, but there are reasons why people just flooded this place~

Hot Plate Tofu~Nice!

Claypot pork belly with yam~ Very good~~~~

Curry wild pig meat~ Not spicy and tasted good~

So so only~ In fact not very fresh~ 

More importantly, the prices are reasonable...all these cost less than 13 bucks per person~ No wonder people just rush in and flooded this place~

Ahh~~ So we had all our meals outside instead of self preparing~ Different kind of experience afterall~

Bak Kut Teh (大口巴生肉骨茶)

People always associate superb Bak Kut Teh with Klang. For that, I always against famous food being sold with a famous tag name. Example, "Penang" Char Kuew Teow, "Seremban" Siew Pao, "Teluk Intan" G-Cheong Fun....which can be found not from their places of originality~

Ok, enough said, lets get back to our Bak Kut Teh. This was an incidental finding after the intended place for dinner was not open....(Too bad, I definitely will go back for it!!!) This is still ok la~ Still, below par compare with the real Klang Bak Kut Teh!! =P

If you are interested, can try out near Bukit Serdang Police station. But then, not recommended.
Anyone can show me a truely superb Bak Kut Teh?! Argh...I am craving for nice food!!!
