Tomb Raid~

Nothing to do with any Mausoleum or tomb this time, simply famous because of this movie by Angelina Jolie~~~

Tada~also known as the Tree Temple.....simply because after its abandonment, nature had blend in very well with huge trees growing all over the place. Thus making the destruction more rampant~

Awesome right?~

Much of it was already in ruins

All these trees made restoration work very difficult~ 

In the end, choices has to be made between preserving nature's improvisation, or restoring a ruin which had been forgotten by history~

Phnom Bakheng

Bakheng Hill is the perfect spot for viewing sun set~ What a waste that we went all the way up, only to see the cloud turns black....and rain~

One of the earliest temple in Angkor history~

Again, it was abandoned slowly due to the massive amount of temples around the area~

Weathering and disrepair both cost a toll to this once a magnificent temple~

At least we took a picture...would be better to have seen the sun set though~
