Let us continue our JiangNan's journey from where we stop last 2 post. So we traveled from SuZhou to NanJing, as usual by the high speed train. NanJing or in the olden day "JinLin" was the capital city of 6 Dynasties!!! Even the Kuo-Min-Tang's government set their capital city there before they lost to the communist and ran to Taiwan. So it will not be difficult to see alot of great historic buildings and structures here. Perhaps NanJing was more famous from the Lu-Gou-Qiao incidence, during World War Two, where the Japanese killed more than 100 000 innocent civilians. That were some pretty sad and bloody history but we are here today to introduce fast food, so maybe another day~
We reached NanJing quite late, around 8pm, and to make matter worse, the Hotel I booked refused foreigners. What a bummer! In the end, when we finally found another hotel that would take us, it was already 9pm. I guess most of the restaurant would have closed. And then here we were in the middle of the road when we saw this Steamboat Fast Food(pretty weird eh?~good concept though~)
Surrounding was nothing less than an ordinary fast food outlet you can find in Malaysia
A variety of different sauce, and you can actually customized your own sauce based on personal preferences~
I know it might not look appealing but it tasted quite good~
Tomyam with Herbal soup~
Everyone was so exhausted and hungry~
Thin sliced pork
Dumplings~
Whole egg noodles~
seaweed~
Vege
Chicken tip......bad move...no one knows how to eat them~
Mushroom
Yuba
Beef ball with juicy prawns(暴酱牛圆)~ The juice doesn't spit out like what I expected~
Crab Stick
Everyone was very contended~probably due to severe hunger~
The price was acceptable~ It was even quite cheap after you converted back to Ringgit Malaysia~
