Beijing is famous with its roasted duck no doubt, but only 2 outlets are able to produce the best roasted duck in Beijing - Quan-Ju-De and Bian-Yi-Fang(described in my previous post)
Here we were, infront of Quan-Ju-De in Wang-Fu-Jin
A fresh roasted duck cost about 280 Ren Min Bi!!!!! In the end we decided to take a set seeing that it doesn't make much of a different ordering the A La Carte~
First course Foie Gras!!!!
It was better than what I thought~ Super acceptable~ Slurp~
Some sort of marinated cucumber?~
A very good appetizer overall, it tasted so uniquely~ totally awesome!
Some sort of cake or dessert~ Straight melt in your mouth. The fragrance was killing good!
Here is the main course!
Awesome to have the chef specifically slicing for you~
Best part of a roasted duck? The skin of course~~~
Put aside the taste and fragrance, which was fantastic of course, the skin was so crispy, and with a layer of fat, it melts in your mouth! OMGOSH~ So sinfully fabulous~
The duck brain~
Err, not my favourite though~
How can we omit the sauce~
Here are the meat~
Together with the very crispy skin, fragrance and well roasted taste, the juciy texture of the duck was really heavenly great~
The crust, with duck and sauce, was quite a good combination~
Gulp......
Stew soup~
Very concentrated and fresh! Just great~
Look at all these ingredient~
Forgotten what its called...but quite nice~
A mixture of roasted meat and some vege~
Vege~
This is the worst part though~
This jug of watermelon juice cost 115 RMB!!!! What a bummer~
Even the fruits was served in such manner~
In the olden day, this wall can only appear in a royal garden~
5 STARS?!
It came with a price apparently~ =.=
We were officially broke after this~ ha!
