Dim Sum...老友记

It has been quite some time we didn't went for Dim Sum breakfast. So happened it was Deepavali, time for some Chinese Breakfast~

The best stuff we found so far is their Golden Pau (金沙包), which was fulled with mixture of eggs and corns filling. Fantastic especially when the filling burst in your dear mouth~ =P

Golden Pau (金沙包)

Photobucket
See all the filling?~If you take too large a bite, be sure that everything will just burst into your mouth!

Photobucket
Simply heavenly!

Photobucket
Drooling now even just thinking~ slurp!~

Photobucket
New product~

Photobucket
Marinated meat coated with ham....nice nice!

Photobucket
Small pau (小笼包).....usually filled with meat and juicy soup.....when you bite it, all the juice and soup will fill your entire oral cavity and space....

Photobucket
Best eaten with vinegar and ginger, too bad its not hot enough....I still prefer 鼎泰丰 one~~

Photobucket
Siew Mai...normal stuff la~just abit too salty~

Photobucket
The meat is not juicy enough I am afraid~

Photobucket
Same thing...too salty~

Photobucket
Prawns' dumplings (虾饺)....not bad not bad~

Photobucket
The prawns were quite fresh and crispy~

At the end of the session, needless to say both of us already stuffy fulled. But extremely contended~
Ahh...looking forward to next visit for their Golden Pau~ =P

Hatyai 4 - Dim Sum and Municipal Park

As recommended, we went to the allegedly great dim sum restaurant within walking distance. Ah, abit over rated...... Still, the price is very very cheap with 14 bahts per steamer.

Photobucket
Choose all you want, and they will steam on the spot...

Photobucket
Wao...its barely 7.30am local time

Photobucket
strange to serve tea using this kinda pot~

Photobucket
These many definitely gonna cost alot in Malaysia

Photobucket
Loh Mai Kai..... Not nice~

Photobucket
G-Cheong Fun?! Even the looks unacceptable

Photobucket
Fine, the taste are equally unacceptable....

Photobucket
The filling are not bad, the skin abit too sticky

Photobucket
The best of all! Prawn dumpling...only 14 bahts!!! Thats like 3-4 times cheaper then Malaysia. Plus, the prawns are very large. and so we ordered 4 steamers! ha!

Photobucket
Nice nice!

Photobucket
Siew Mai, not bad

Photobucket
We even ordered a pot of Bak Kut Teh.. 120 bahts...

Photobucket
So so je~

After the refreshing breakfast, we went around the city centre for some early shopping, then off to our next destination, the Municipal Park!

There are 3 Buddhism Statue deep in the Park, quite some distance up the winding road. The Buddha Statue, Guan Yin Statue and Brahma Statue, all located at different part up the hill.

Photobucket
Is huge!

Photobucket
The temple is under the golden statue

Photobucket
Very very magnificent!

Photobucket
The Guan Yin statue can be seen from afar

Photobucket
Just a distance away by car

Photobucket
Hmm...all these tourist spot was built because of high demand of Chinese tourist I guess....

Photobucket
Ha!

Photobucket
In the end, we didn't manage to visit the Brahma Statue.... due to time constriction, since we have to cross the other side using Cable car.....

Photobucket
Ice Dome?~ Maybe next time......
