Happy Birthday Ma!

I am from a pretty traditional family where all members will sit down and have reunion dinner. That is what we always do. Too bad this year also, my second bro who went back France and could not join us for the celebration.

Weekend in Seremban

Its another weekend in my hometown! Argh.....had been anticipating since last Sunday (spirits were pretty low lately~ =P) At least there is still johnny English Reborn to count on~ha!

It was almost full house for the 2.45pm slot even at 11am, wow Seremban people has no better things to do is it?! In the end we resorted to taking the front row....nah I can't even wait another hour!

Photobucket
Still a long time so lets have some food first~

Photobucket
Domino's Pizza........

Photobucket
Looks like they only do take away business~

Photobucket
Cinnamon Bread! Very nice! In fact I never thought it can taste like this~ of course only for those who take cinnamon(mind, I am a chronic addict~)

Photobucket
Seafood.....not bad~

Photobucket
@.@ Really got seafood ka?!

Photobucket
New York Crust Classic Chicken~This one better! They used garlic butter which smell super good!

Photobucket
Owh....he was never ever disappointing was he?!It was almost a 2 hours solid laughter! By the end of the session, you are just so tired of laughing that the only thing you want to do would be to sleep~
Overall quite a nice movie, don't expect it to be logical or brilliant, cause it was never meant to be~ XD

Farewell in National Day

A patriotic Friday where we gather around for a farewell of one of our bestie~ Odd way of saying goodbye? Ha! I think he prefer that as you won't get a chance to have another round of such card games in Manchester~

Still remember the Board Game Cafe I introduced few weeks earlier?~ Apparently we get addicted to one of the top games there ------ 三国杀 ( Three Kingdom ). One of us even ordered one set online all the way from Singapore! @.@ Pretty crazy right?! but well, its seriously an interesting game that is easy to play, difficult to master, but highly addicted~ That is how good it is...ha!

Photobucket
Quite alot to remember and rules to bind~

Photobucket
Can accommodate up to 10 players!

Photobucket
Before leaving for Manchester, lets have one big union picture~

Photobucket
All the best to our beloved Sheng Ji boy.......

And of course, Happy Malaysia Day!

Senior Day

I think most of the Government Medical School will have this tradition of having a direct senior-junior relation lineage....also known as the buddy line system~ Each year after certain amount of "teaching" ( more commonly known as ragging~ ), each first year will be assigned a direct senior line which will be responsible of helping them to get adapted to medical student life. Criteria of whom to choose? That depends on preferences of each lineage. Mine was suppose to be a pure Seremban line but due to circumstances, now its a mixture of Johor, KL, Kelantan and the newest collection -- Sarawak.... @.@ God knows what next~

After some cozy little dinner and introduction, I can only wish the best to this newest freshie, who definitely has no idea of what lays ahead of her....Ahh, another innocent prey who got lulled into the medical profession~

Photobucket
Taken infront of Chop and Steak Serdang
Hmm.....mediocre food~ only nice thing is their large cup of fruit juice....food wise is just average and so shall not be discussed further~ =P

Kissaten

Its lunch time again and here we were in PJ Jaya One, in a Japanese (more like a fusion) outlet.

Photobucket
Kissaten

Photobucket
To be honest, quite pricy, but look at the crowd!

Photobucket
They have alot of chinese style and western style Jap food(weird~)

Photobucket
Looks more like a magazine to me

Photobucket
Xiao Mei Mei so absorbed in Mr. Hoh's lecture~

Photobucket
Green Tea

Photobucket
Unagi Bento Set

Photobucket
Apparently there are some "Kung Fu" in cutting Unagi. It involves alot of skills in order to remove all d bones which could be a pain for Unagi lovers!

Photobucket
More importantly, a nice piece of Unagi should melt in your mouth with a smooth texture. This is still acceptable~

Photobucket
Miso soup

Photobucket
The steam eggs.....whoa! Super thick with material, but then you can no longer taste the originality of steam egg....a no from me~

Photobucket
Salmon fish set

Photobucket
This is acceptable also.. but less juicy

Photobucket
Ginger pork(Jap food?)

Photobucket
I have to say, this is great! The meat was just cooked with superb texture and juicy!

Photobucket
Char Siew Pizza...... This one is a must try!

Photobucket
I am not a pizza lover, but this is seriously good!

Photobucket
Japanese pepper? Any difference?

Photobucket
Guess how much this table of food cost?~

Photobucket
Tadda!

Photobucket

Overall is quite good and for those who really enjoy good food, not too bad a place to have your meals~

Lou Shu Fen and Nasi Lemak

If you happen to Google nice food in Serdang, Yuk Heng Lou Shu Fen (玉兴老鼠粉) should be one of those to come out first. Being very famous and EXPENSIVE at the same time, still alot of famous personnel visited it again and again.

Photobucket
When I last went, the place was still 1 shop lot, now they expended to 2 shop lots! With air conditioning somemore.... Bussiness pretty good arr~

Photobucket

Photobucket
杨怡,谭咏麟,吴卓羲,陈豪,Ho Jiak all been here before~

Photobucket
Its 8.30pm still quite alot of customers

Photobucket
Fried Vermicelli ( 炒冬粉 ).....quite nice but RM12

Photobucket
Their most famous Lou Shu Fen!

Photobucket
They cook it like Shark Fin style.....you can even eat with vinegar

Photobucket
Very nice but expensive....RM12 also

Photobucket
Nam Yu Pork Ribs (腩乳排骨)

Photobucket
Well marinated and nice~

Photobucket
But expensive, RM2.50 EACH!

Photobucket
After dinner, we went for second round of "food"..... Nasi Lemak 2.0~

Seriously, this is a film that truely reflect Malaysia. All the one malaysia talking? Dump it~ Go watch and support before our dear government decided to take it down (pretty sensitve and I wonder how they passed through the censorship board~).
