Sil Ro Am ( Korean Restaurant )

It was suppose to be an ordinary tea gather which eventually turned into a lunch gather. Korean food, never had a good feeling about it to be honest~

Especially Kimchi, I have heard enough for me to even dream of trying~ But then here we were, deciding whether to try Korean food or resort to our usual Japanese food.

"Ah...lets try something new.."

Photobucket
Not bad~

Photobucket
Abit small, but still comfy~

Photobucket
Wow, leather bound....

Photobucket
Hmm......who suggested of trying?!

Photobucket
Luckily got some cheapo stuff.....

Photobucket
Sure enough everyone took lunch set... =P

Photobucket
Seriously expensive for the A La Carte one~

Photobucket
Plain water would be adequate

Photobucket
Icy cold~

Photobucket
While waiting, just look around their design~

Photobucket
Finally here come our food~

Photobucket
Grilled fish...hmm.....quite ordinary~

Photobucket
Pork Chop.......as usual my favourite

Photobucket
Still ok la~

Photobucket
Fried beancurd with egg

Photobucket
Kimchi....For sure, I would never try it again...(No offence to kimchi lovers~)

Photobucket
Gosh.....do all Korean love spicy that much?! This is like super hot!

Photobucket
For those who really love Korean food, please come and try....their owner are actually Korean~

I would say this is rather ok .....except the Kimchi(Yuck...)..

According to one of my friend, their A la Carte were really nice, although abit pricy! So for those who really love korean food, can try~ This is in Era Square Seremban....just beside New Town~

Well, I still prefer Jap food~ =)

It's worth it actually better than eating other korean food that is much more expensive than this. The proprietress of the restaurant is a very nice person. For the kimchi, yes, it's super spicy and I can hardly take the third bite, but it's delicious! Real korean kimchi is totally different compare with the 'modified' kimchi. It's more spicy and tastier.. ^^

Food is way below par unless you think you think chilli hot is tasty food by itself. The noodle is pretty bland. BBQ pork is chewy and bibimbap is just plain spicy without any other flavor to balance it out. The only worthwhile dish was the korean mackerel.

Service is terrible. Nobody understands me. I might as well be in Timbuktu and we would understand each other perfectly. Give this a miss else drive down to KL for proper food.
